September was an exciting month with lots happening!
We started the month with a lovely weekend camping with Nick, Mel, Kaisha and Coen up at Cotton Tree. It was really nice to have Carissa, Craig and family up for a casual dinner on Saturday night. The weather was beautiful although a little cold at night. The boat even got its second outing since being shipped to Australia.

The next weekend we had Jane & Si, Mark & Jen, Julie & Selwyn come over. We decided the excuse was to celebrate Geoff' 60th (back in July) and we had an awesome weekend in Noosa. Started the day with a brunch and then headed to Mooloolaba for lunch. Then up to Noosa for the weekend filled with eating, shopping, swimming, eating, shopping, swimming. We came home via Montville, Bribie Island and sadly dropped most of them at the airport. Unfortunately I forgot my camera much to the relief of some!

So we were totally spoilt this month and we also had Arnold and Carol come over for a few days the next weekend. We had a lovely dinner at "the Jetty" Southbank, a trip up to Eumundi markets and Montville, went to Sanctuary Cove for Sunday lunch and relaxed Sunday night. Carolyn has made me the most beautiful quilt for Kaisha's bed - it is really special - thank you x

So feeling sad now that our friends and family have gone so decided I needed the grandchildren for the weekend - we were moving in a couple of weeks and have started packing and decided this the last opportunity for a while. Actually the weekend was awful!! Kids sick - running noses, Kaisha being a scaredy cat and wouldn't go ANYWHERE by herself, Coen being full of mischief and trying to empty out all my cupboards and drawers (including china plates) and to top it all off - playing in the hose outside and Laura and I spotted a REDBACK spider - groans! Geoff fortunately came home in time to deal to it - I should have got a photo - I couldn't believe how Red the stripe is - it positively glows red!
