October 2012

In October we shifted house.  It was great to have Kent Fiddymont here for a week visiting his brother Guy - bad time to visit Kent!

Kent encouraged Guy to buy his first Australian car!

Looking pretty pleased with themselves

To have a break from unpacking Geoff and I went out the next weekend to Calypso Bay - gorgeous place - the weather fantastic and a car show to entertain us. Definintely worth another visit sometime.

Then it was time to go to NZ.  Nick and Coen came with me for the weekend and then while Dad and Mark went whitebaiting on the West Coast I worked at the Christchurch branch for the mornings and looked after Mum in the afternoons and evening.  A lovely special week.

Back home and I had to go to the Lord Mayor's Business Awards dinner with some work people - we won a highly commended business investment award.  It was a black tie event.
