Geoff turns 60! Officially a senior - wow!
We celebrated with a quiet night for two down at the Gold Coast the weekend before his birthday on the Monday. It was incredible - about 50 mins from home and felt like we had gone overseas for the weekend with the shops all open late and a very buzzing nightlife. We don't usually go to Surfers itself rather head for Broadbeach so was nice for a change.
On the Monday was his actual birthday. I went to pick the children up from Kaisha's ballet, took them home for a quick afternoon snack, picked up Geoff and headed into Georges for a birthday dinner.
I was invited to a breakfast in town to celebrate Bastille Day - wished I was back in the gorgeous country of France :(

Then we got tickets through work to go the Reds game with our Executive Assistant Marilyn and her husband. We caught the train in and it was a great game.
And finally it was a business trip on the calendar to Emerald.
